Loneshade's Vehicle Guide

Hello, fellow Citizens, welcome to my personal vehicle guide!

Last Update: Nov 1st, 2024: CSV-SM added. and omg... so sorry, Mule added! Not sure how that Mule had slipped my attention. Anyway, it's added now :D

Star Citizen offers not only a huge variety of spaceships (Check out my Ship Guide) – but also an ever-increasing number of ground-based vehicles and maintaining an overview is getting more difficult by the day. Dealing with ship and vehicle trades daily and being an active player, I must stay informed, and I want to share this knowledge with you. Be aware, though, that while I often have new players and veterans alike come to ask me, ‘What is the right vehicle for me? What should I buy?’ there is no simple good, better & and best answer – rather, the answer is always a personal one depending on your skill level, hardware and gear, your preference in game style, and even your aesthetic preference. Hence, what I provide you here is not a guide to what is the best vehicle for you but a quick and easy overview of what choices are available and worth considering for the task you have in mind by providing you with all the links you can need, to find more detailed information and to support your decision!

If you’re looking for a more intrinsic and personal recommendation, find me on Star-Hangar’s discord live chat, where we can gladly discuss details to help you find out what fits you best, as well as other frequently asked aspects such as whether or not to go for vehicles with LTI (Life Time Insurance).

As a note to veterans, it's a good idea to search this page before buying a ship you’re potentially interested in, as you can quickly find the links to what alternatives are worth investigating before making your choice. Have fun, and see you in the ‘verse!

New Citizens – check this out first!

If you’re new to Star Citizen, remember to check this out first:

1) Referral Program:
Before you enlist a Star Citizen Account with RSI… Star-Hangar is sponsoring new players with its referral program. Just check the “Star Citizen Account” in our FAQ or ask our staff in Discord Live Chat about it!

2) Game Package:
Note that before acquiring vehicles, you first need a game package. If you don’t have one yet, remember that you can start with any cheap pack, but you may want to make sure it also includes the Squadron 42 single-player campaign. Buying this from RSI has become expensive, but Star-Hangar has cheaper options (that include Squadron 42) available: Starter Packages

Your vehicle overview!
