WELCOME TO LEVSKI

Levski is a so called free-town located in the former QV Planet Services mining facility on Delamar in the Nyx System. It is occupied by political radicals with anti-UEE affiliations.

HISTORY OF LEVSKI

LEVSKI BEGINNINGS
In 2655, a small group of activists sought to escape the totalitarianism of the Messers and found refuge in Delamar’s vacated mining facility. The remote location seemed an ideal stronghold in which to start again. They named the facility Levski in honor of the ancient Earth revolutionary Vasil Levski who shared their dream of an egalitarian society.
The first thing one sees upon entering Levski is the imposing statue to honor Anthony Tanaka, a child laborer who died under the rule of the Messers. The statue is an enduring symbol of the People's Alliance of Levski's revolutionary spirit.
ANTHONY TANAKA STATUE
Anthony Tanaka was a child worker. The circumstances of his life and death made him a figurehead in the fight against the Messer Regime. At the end of his sixteen-hour shift, Tanaka were ordered to pick up the shift of a co-worker.
Tanaka refused the order loudly and was probably killed on the same place by an overseer. Footage of his death was smuggled out and fueled the resistance against the Messer regime.

LEVSKI SURROUNDINGS
Levski is easy to spot thanks to the deep excavation pit that can be found just outside of the station. The next major part of this landing zone are its 4 hangar bays that can fit ships as big as mighty Starfarer.
Other facilities include various abandoned mining buildings, functional vehicle garages as well as enormous, decommissioned railway infrastructure around the pit.

ENTRANCE AND MAIN FACILITIES
People of Levski had very little space to work with when it comes to interior, that is why most of the facility is very cramped and tightly packed (with exception of upper lobby which was left pretty much empty).
As every other secure landing zone, each newcomer has to go through customs and security checks. At the same level you can find habitation area as well as admin office while elevators lead you to the Grand Barter.

GRAND BARTER
When you visit Levski, you cannot miss out on Grand Barter. With the variety of shops ranging from simple poster stand to fully equipped weapon store, you can be sure that there is something you can call your own (for certain amount of UEC of course). The fact that the place is nudged into the old mining facility, makes it even more fun to explore.
