Thunder - FM Class - Space Superiority Interceptor - Base Variant
Thunder - FM Class - Medium Fighter (Space Superiority Interceptor)
Railgun & Autocannon Loadout Variant
Lucky Industries proudly presents:
Thunder FM Class 2316, is designed as a stylish high-end interceptor, designed for the game "Starbase"
NOTE - This is a ship blueprint for the game "Starbase" (not Star Citizen!)
This ship is temporarily free of charge, to advertise the design quality you may expect from Lucky Industries.
Expect more designs to become available in the future.
The Thunder class is a fast and deadly space superiority interceptor, with high firepower, heavy armor, and an extremely small footprint, making it hard to defeat.
Plus, it looks amazingly stunning: Designed with invisible bolting tech, no bolts are visible inside & outside, not even on displays! For all you roleplayers out there, the ship sports a fully encased, and functional cockpit and several gimmicks.
The focus of this ship, however, is combat, which it excels at:
Designed as a fast interceptor, Thunder may choose to engage in knife fights to rip its opponents or keep its distance, utilizing strafe and reverse tactics while bombarding opponents with surgical railgun strikes - all the time is almost impossible to hit itself, due to only exposing a tiny front!
Do not be mistaken by your Thunder's wing size: both wings are fully disposable and your ship remains fully functional, as long as its pilot isn't killed or the core behind the pilot is breached - however that its vulnerable area is heavily armored and smaller than an endo!
Feature List:
- Single Pilot operated Interceptor
- 2 Rail Cannons
- 8 Autocannons
- Weapon Aim Assist, adjusting to last-known distance to target
- Dual Layer of heavy armor
- Top Speeds of ~135m/s forward
- Top Speeds of ~85m/s on sideway strafe movement
- Tiny Footprint (facing your front to the enemy, the vulnerable area, incl. the cockpit, is barely the size of an endo!)
Lucky Industries Design Standards: - Highly redundant Design, hard to kill
- High Redundancy (single destroyed components never disable the ship)
- Invisible Bolting
- Fully featured interior (RPG-ready)
- Separate physical networks for ship and weapons (so you can shoot all you want, without worrying your ship will not move)
Note: if you receive the blueprint and your ship doesn't turn on - read the manual here!
You'll need to activate your fighter first. The manual will explain all the functions in detail.
Note that your Thunder is an expensive Highend ship, built of the best materials available. It's meant to get you into a fight and out as a victor, or at least back home alive - no matter the material price tag. I recommend using it to protect carriers and stations, but not so much for Pirating-PvP, since the cost of maintaining this ship might turn out high.
Note that this product is a 'blueprint' and you will not receive any actual content in game, but rather the creative work of the blueprint creator. The data backup file received, were it installed into the game, enables reproduction of said product based on the game's current state of development. You purchase unrestricted rights for use of this intellectual property, except for resale.
