F7A Hornet MK 1 - Original Concept LTI

This is a ship that was never sold by CIG, making it possibly the rarest ship in Star Citizen. Back in 2013 there was a charity event for Veterans Day where CIG sold body kits for Hornets that would make them look like military versions of Hornet used in Squadron 42. Fast forward to 2024 and they decided to change those body kits into actual standalone ships to honor the few backers that supported them at the very start(that is why, inside your hangar, you will see it called military hornet upgrade but inside is an actual standalone ship). CIG already moved on to MK 2 versions and there are no plans of making this ship available for sale in the store. This is a collector's item.
